Cambridge Community Circus (CCC) was formed in
1994 to promote, teach and perform Circus Skills in the Cambridge
area. We are run by a voluntary management committee who are elected
at the Annual General Meeting for members. We are a non-profit-making
association currently applying for charitable status.
CCC runs weekly workshops, performs and teaches all around Cambridge and the
surrounding area throughout the year. In the past we have organised large-scale
Community Shows in Spring,
performed fundraising Christmas Cabarets and have run five Cambridge
Juggling Conventions. We are grant-aided by Cambridge City Council
Leisure Services and we also raise funds through our performances and workshops.
Cambridge Community Circus is about you!
Come down to a workshop and get involved - we're a friendly bunch
and you don't have to be able to juggle already - we'll teach you
as much (or as little) as you want to know.
Our workshops are open to all (except children under 7) and are attended
by a mix of people - teachers, students, people with and without jobs...
We look forward to meeting you!
If you can juggle already, come and meet the local juggling group - we attend
many of the major Juggling Conventions in the U.K. and abroad, and often arrange
social events, visits to circus-related performances and special trips.
