• Pair of good quality microphones; the Behringer C-2 would be the minimum, I think.
• Simple mixer — or, better — multi-channel audio capture device to allow recording of three or four instruments
• BOSS TU-2 tuner or Behringer TU100 Tuner (cheaper!).
• Pair of Schaller JBX (Neck and bridge) pickups (black) or, possibly better, a pair of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups &mdash their stupid site only takes you to the target of that link if you have javascript (and flash?) turned off!
• piezo saddles — and preamp.
• Five string fretless bass eg

Computer &^c

• Better camera
• USB midi port
• USB controlled mains switch like USB4PRMx (and get a cover for it) to permit switching of central heating valves etc. from server.
• USB External DVD read/writer for use with laptop &mdash actually probably only need DVD read but CD write? Want to be able to produce a rescue disc…

• Video projector (takes less room space than CRT)

Household

• deep blue laundry basket
• 2 Spur strongbeam 350×350mm single-shelf brackets (Spur code 7514, but Spur have stopped manufacture in the UK), white. Or microwave brackets?
• three more ASSA 8726 55mm backset Euro door latches (Acorn Architectural Ironmongery can get them), or (cheaper) CES-7700-01-SSS, also from Acorn Architectural Ironmongery
• loupe — not sure what magnification is best.
• Magnifier lamp for working on small fiddly things with aging eyes.
• Whole house heat recovery ventilation system or several Vent Axia HR25H
• Exterior thermal insulation with rain screen (eg Eisenberg Argeton)

Kitchen

• deep blue oven gloves, single gauntlet
• Plate warmer nicer and bigger than the ones I already have. Or possibly two of these which are OK. Or maybe make one.
• Blender attachment for Kenwood Chef A701 (1970s model)? Machine is old and anyway we have a hand-held blender. Probably better to get a bigger stick blender
• Eventually replace mixer with a Kitchenaid K5 or similarly sized Commercial Mixer
• Crumpet rings, if stainless steel
• Square cross-section glass jars like the ones that Ravenhead used to make. 3litre.
• 200mm/8″ cake tin (stainless steel if such exist), removable base or spring form
• stainless steel cake cooling tray
• Falcon Fusion Dominator range.

Tools

• Pipe deburring tool: pipe reamer
• Universal countersink
• Blowlamp/blowtorch capable of both soldering copper pipe (ideally vortex burner) and brazing — actually probably want bronze welding rather than brazing, and I don't think a blowtorch can do that.
• Sheet metal nibbler
• Self centering mortise base for routers. Perhaps could make one?
• Rotating handle (Part No. 2872) for Bailey Universal drain rods. Possibly clearing wheel (1740) too.
• Flexible drive attachment for Dremel.
• oil for beard trimmer (sewing machine oil)
• Riveter capable of doing stainless steel rivets
• BAHCO adjustable spanners — possibly replace current two (small and tiny) so that the adjusters all work in the same direction.
• Bosch palm router might be handy for in-situ work. Probably don't need two ¼″ routers, though.
• Router table (to fit Trend T5/T11)
• Small metalworking lathe (and somewhere to put it!)

Clothing

• Navy blue silk stock (or Indian scarf)
